If you’re not familiar with golf ball compression, you might not realize that it is critically important when choosing a golf ball.
Golf balls are rated on a compression scale which indicates how much the ball deforms (or squishes) under load. A firm or high-compression golf ball would have a compression around
100. With a low or soft-compression golf ball anywhere under 60.
Low compression, soft feel golf balls are perfect for senior golfers with a slower swing speed. Soft compression golf balls don’t require a super fast swing like Bryson DeChambeau to unlock their optimal performance.
